Biography:
Dr. Liuhua Shi is an Assistant Professor in the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. She earned Sc.D. in Environmental Health from Harvard University in 2016 and did her postdoc at the same institution. Her research focuses on the health effects of air pollution and climate change on the development and progression of chronic diseases among the older adults, for example Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. To this end, her research combines remote sensing, machine learning, epidemiology, and statistical techniques.
