This session explores diagnostic criteria, clinical evaluation and differentiation between Alzheimer’s disease, other dementias, psychiatric conditions, delirium, medication effects and reversible causes of cognitive impairment. It also considers diagnostic challenges across ages, cultures, languages, healthcare settings and stages of disease.

Abstracts may cover cognitive testing, clinical pathways, differential diagnosis, neuropsychological assessment, diagnostic errors, atypical cases, comorbidities, culturally appropriate tools and multidisciplinary evaluation.
