Technology, public-health planning and supportive policies are increasingly important in responding to the growing impact of dementia. This session explores artificial intelligence, digital assessment, remote monitoring, telehealth, assistive technologies, health-data systems, public awareness, healthcare access and dementia-friendly communities. It also examines ethical, legal, economic and policy considerations affecting the adoption of innovations and delivery of equitable dementia services.
Abstracts may address digital tools, predictive analytics, mobile applications, wearable devices, robotics, telecare, health-service research, epidemiology, public policy, awareness campaigns and disparities in dementia care. Data scientists, engineers, clinicians, public-health professionals, policymakers, economists, advocacy groups, healthcare administrators, industry representatives, researchers and students may contribute technical research, programme evaluations, policy analyses and community-based initiatives.
