Genetics, Epigenetics and Precision Medicine

Genetic and epigenetic research is expanding knowledge of individual susceptibility, disease progression and treatment response in Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. This session examines inherited and acquired biological variations that influence cognitive disorders, including genetic risk factors, gene regulation, environmental interactions and population differences. It also considers how personalised and precision-based approaches may support more targeted prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

Abstract Scope and Participation

Abstracts may address genomics, epigenomics, familial dementia, genetic counselling, risk prediction, pharmacogenomics, gene–environment interactions, population genetics, precision diagnostics and personalised therapies. Researchers, geneticists, neurologists, molecular biologists, bioinformaticians, counsellors, clinicians, pharmacologists, epidemiologists and students are encouraged to share laboratory findings, clinical research, ethical perspectives, reviews and emerging precision-medicine applications.
