Neuroimaging and advanced diagnostic methods provide valuable information about brain structure, function, metabolism and disease progression. This session covers developments in magnetic resonance imaging, positron emission tomography, computed tomography, functional imaging, electrophysiology and integrated diagnostic approaches. It encourages discussion of how emerging tools can support clinical decision-making, research classification and monitoring of cognitive disorders.
Submissions may address imaging methods, image analysis, radiological findings, artificial intelligence-assisted interpretation, electrophysiology, diagnostic accuracy and combined imaging–biomarker approaches. Radiologists, neurologists, nuclear medicine specialists, neuroscientists, engineers, physicists, clinicians, technologists, data analysts and students may present methodological research, clinical studies, case findings, technical innovations and reviews related to dementia diagnosis.
